To improve its EV product line in the Indian market, the top player in the four-wheeler segment MG Motor will soon add one more product to its fleet. According to the reports, the company has filed a patent design for a sub-4 meter electric hatchback named Wuling Binguo.

Overall Size

As per the details that surfaced on the internet, the upcoming EV will be slightly flaunting a bigger size compared to Tata Tiago. ev. Talking about the overall dimensions, it will be 3,950 mm in length, 1,708 mm in width, and 1,580 mm in height. The wheelbase and ground clearance are not known yet.

Design Elements

The EV will hit the market with a similar design pattern as the Fiat 500 and Nissan Micra. It seems like the brand is trying to bring back the golden era in the country in the form of EV.

The model is expected to come with a large single-pod headlamps setup, a dark finish front grill, featuring a coupe-like roof line, which might attract masses. At the rear section, the EV is likely to offer a trending LED taillights unit, chrome finished badging, and defogger among other important features.

Interior

Jumping inside, the interior is likely to be treated with the dual-tone shade. The customers can expect multi-functional a 2-spoke steering wheel, and dual-screen (one for the driver and one for the passenger), which will support all the wireless car connect technology, automatic AC, cruise control mode, and multiple charging sockets among others.

Battery, Range and Models

Most of the specs are under wrap as yet. However, the international model comes with three powertrain options. The base trim gets a 30 kW electric motor, paired with a 17.3 kWh battery. It allows the variant to offer a decent range of 203 km on a single charge.

The second top trim uses a 31.9 kWh battery, paired with a 50 kW electric motor. It offers a claimed range of around 333 km on a full top-up. As far as the top model is concerned, it features a robust 37.9 kWh LFP battery unit and provides an impressive range of 410 km.
